The botafumeiro! (Smoke-belcher; largest censer for spreading incense smoke in the world. It weighs 175 lb, it's swung by 8 men back and forth from a pulley system reaching speeds of 80kph.) Impressive!

Success! Arrived in Santiago – Sunday July 19, 2015

Arriving at Sunrise into Santiago. There is still about an hour walk into the historical district, cathedral and the pilgrim's office to receive Compostela certificate... We are very close!!

Hijacking the bread truck!

Kids have become experts in stopping bread delivery vans and asking if they have bread to sell. Many times it is still warm!

Arriving into Santiago on Sunday we even found a delivery van and of course bought bread!

In many cases we pay 1 or 2 euros for the bread! This delivery guy was so sweet he didn't charge us anything!

Here we actually got in to the bread making plant and bought a traditional empanada Gallega just baked!

We meet Carmen and Lucia from Palma de Mallorca on a school trip doing the last 100 km to Santiago - they became our walking companions for two days.

Yesterday and today to tough days of going uphill. (Reached our last high points of our journey) Felipe fell and we were scared that it was bad but it wasn't  (arnica and a wrap worked like a miracle)

We found this very interesting grasshopper that travelled on Felipe's stick for a while. We have seen very interesting animals!
